Apple Back Out
By Charlie | December 1st, 2006 in News |Apple were targeting people using the term Podcast trying to stop them or extract fees, claiming ownership of the term. It now seems that they have backed out. Thankfully this lunacy has stopped.
In October when Dave Gray, one of the hosts of TPN’s GlobalGeek podcast, sent a letter to Apple with a cheque for $1 for using the term ‘podcast’. Well he recently got a reply claiming that Apple had no hold over the word. Read the fuller letter here.
