We started noWax on a whim back in 2003. It took off quite sharply and took us a little by surprise.

People all over the place started wanting to put on their own one, so we let them.

All the other hosts called it noWax and we put their nights on the one website and did mail-outs announcing the next parties.

We started writing about digital music in a weekly newsletter which got up to a subscription level of 2,500

LCD SoundThere’s nothing like a bit of knowing self-depreciation from the king of references, Mr James Murphy. Yes LCD Soundsystem are back with a great new single – North American Scum. I’m sure I don’t need to harp on about this, everyone has heard it in clubs on the radio etc etc. The new album is great as well. This track according to Murphy was the last one he made for the album and was intended to beef up his live show. It is pretty anathematic. Roll on the live dates.
