The Earlies - ‘No love in your Heart’ / ‘Breaking Point’

This seriously talented multi-instrumentalist group from Manchester and Texas have been away for a while but now return with something quite different from their debut album. Gone are the country leanings and the prog is on the cards in a much bigger way. Keyboards filter in here and there, sitars linger and disappear and all manner of things that I can’t describe build this wall of sound into something quite powerful. ‘Breaking Point’ is purely instrumental and builds like a Tsunami with anger management issues. ‘No Love In Your Heart’ features the familiar harmonizing vocals that The Earlies came to stand for but again the production is big and psychedelic to say the least. This looks like being a really interesting album, which gets a release early next year.
