We started noWax on a whim back in 2003. It took off quite sharply and took us a little by surprise.

People all over the place started wanting to put on their own one, so we let them.

All the other hosts called it noWax and we put their nights on the one website and did mail-outs announcing the next parties.

We started writing about digital music in a weekly newsletter which got up to a subscription level of 2,500

Wii Love

wii tunes With Airtunes, everybody knows you can play your iTunes music through your stereo from your computer. The drawback is that you have to have your computer to hand. If you’re smart (and rich) enough to have a Nintendo Wii then you can download the Opera browser onto the Wii and control everything from your Dot.iTunes account. Dot.iTunes can stream the music onto your Wii and then onto your TV audio system using a small flash player. Clever.

Honestly, Nintendo have done really well making their Wii so flexible. Everyday people are creating new ways to use the device. Some say such flexible products are the future. They might have something there…
